ORGIE was born of a meeting with Yvan BERNARD of Les Chemins de l'Arkose.
He makes vibrant, energetic wines in Auvergne (Montpeyroux).
The idea germinated in our minds to pool our know-how and our grapes!
This is the marriage of Merlot on Sables and Graves with Gamays on Volcanic éboulis.
The Merlots make up half of the blend for this cuvée, they come from our parcels à Lalande de Pomerol.
The gamays perfectly complete the blend, they come from parcels in IGP Côte d'Auvergne.
It's a Vin de France cuvée!
The grapes are organic, the ripeness is excellent.
We decided together to vinify merlot and gamay together, in whole bunches within the Chemins de l'Arkose cuvage.
No inputs, yeasts or sulfites were added during the winemaking process.
Light sulfiting was carried out prior to bottling.
The voluptuous fleshiness of the merlots finds in the gamays a saving tension in a sunny vintage.
Whole cluster vinification brings a peppery complexity to the red fruit aroma.
